    Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun & Transfer to Barko

    Arrive at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station by morning and meet your driver. Begin your scenic drive to Barkot, a tranquil town nestled at the foothills of Yamunotri. En route, take a refreshing break at Kempty Falls near Mussoorie to stretch your legs and capture some photos. By afternoon, reach Barkot and check into a hotel or camp surrounded by mountains. Spend the rest of your day relaxing and acclimatizing to the altitude. Enjoy a warm dinner at your accommodation, featuring regional delicacies.

     

    Day 2: Yamunotri Trek & Return to Barkot 

    Start early with breakfast and drive around 1.5 hours to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the Yamunotri trek. The 6 km uphill trek offers beautiful natural vistas and religious pit stops like Hanuman Chatti and Surya Kund. At the temple, seek blessings and take a dip in the holy thermal springs believed to heal ailments. After darshan and temple rituals, begin your descent and return to Janki Chatti. From there, drive back to Barkot by evening. Relax with a wholesome dinner at your stay after a spiritually fulfilling day.

     

    Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi 

     Post breakfast, check out and start your drive to Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. En route, stop at Prakateshwar Mahadev Cave, a natural limestone shrine with unique stalactite formations. Arrive in Uttarkashi by afternoon and check into your hotel. Later, visit the ancient Kashi Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and enjoy a serene riverside walk. This spiritual hub offers a tranquil setting for reflection and connection. Dinner will be served at your hotel, offering local Garhwali flavors.

     

    Day 4: Gangotri Day Trip 

    Begin your day with a scenic 4–5 hour drive to Gangotri. The route passes through the picturesque Harsil Valley, filled with pine forests, gushing rivers, and apple orchards. Arrive at Gangotri Temple, one of the Char Dham shrines, by noon. After darshan, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi and explore sacred spots like Bhagirath Shila and Surya Kund. The aura is peaceful and divine, surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks. Return to Uttarkashi by evening. Enjoy dinner and unwind after the day’s spiritual adventure.

     

    Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi 

     Check out after breakfast for your journey to Guptkashi. The long yet breathtaking drive takes around 8 hours and includes scenic river crossings, lush valleys, and the sacred confluence at Rudraprayag. You’ll follow the Mandakini River as you ascend into the Garhwal Himalayas. Reach Guptkashi by evening and check into a cozy guesthouse or hotel. If time allows, visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhanareshwar Cave nearby. Enjoy a well-deserved dinner and rest to prepare for the Kedarnath trek.

     

    Day 6: Kedarnath Trek 

    Rise early and drive 1.5 hours to Gaurikund, the base for your Kedarnath trek. Begin the 16 km uphill trek through forests, waterfalls, and misty trails. You may opt for pony, doli, or helicopter (advance booking needed). Reach Kedarnath by late afternoon and check into a basic guesthouse or government stay. Attend the serene evening aarti at the Kedarnath Temple, nestled amidst snow-clad peaks. It’s a spiritually moving experience under the stars.

     

    Day 7: Return to Guptkashi

     Wake early to witness sunrise over Kedarnath peak—an unforgettable Himalayan sight. After morning darshan and breakfast, start your descent to Gaurikund. Take regular breaks during the 16 km downhill trek to avoid leg fatigue. Once you reach the base, your driver will take you back to Guptkashi. Check-in at your hotel and enjoy a hearty dinner. Spend the evening resting, reflecting on the divine Kedarnath experience.

     

    Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath 

     Depart early after breakfast for your drive to Badrinath, passing through Chopta and Joshimath. Enjoy views of snow peaks, alpine forests, and sacred rivers. Reach Badrinath by afternoon and check into your hotel. After some rest, visit the Badrinath Temple and bathe in the Tapt Kund hot springs. Later, explore Mana village—India’s last village before the Tibet border, known for Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. Dinner and overnight in Badrinath.

     

    Day 9: Badrinath to Rishikesh/Haridwar 

     Start your return journey early after morning temple darshan and breakfast. The route back takes you past confluences like Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Devprayag, each sacred in its own right. Stop for lunch en route and enjoy the changing scenery as you descend from the mountains to the plains. Arrive in Rishikesh or Haridwar by late evening. Choose to relax overnight or continue your onward journey the next day.
